Well, you've got to love it. I think it causes a lot of crappy theme's to be generated, and we've got lot's of those! Besides that, it is also very nice to be able to create new theme's easily. Just for the sake of customization.

Thats a good point about the amount of lower quality themes being generated, perhaps if you could filter out user generated themes in the gallery on mobile9.
Anyway it's a useful tool for those of us who have neither the time or the pc power for carbide.

Well actually all themes in the m9 galleries are 100% member created and submitted. Themes created with this tool will not automatically be saved in the gallery (I believe) and you're right that the reason this tool will be successful is the complexity of Carbide.ui and the level of knowledge required to make good use of it. With this tool, anyone can make a good basic theme with their own background and color scheme and they can do so quickly and easily.

So give it a try! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. :)

It's still there mike, but it might have moved to closed beta. Are you registered on mobile9? If not, try registering and then hitting that link again.

I've been using ownskin for a while and Zedge has also launched a theme maker a while ago. It remains to see who will win this race.

lol Well it's not quite a race but it's always good to have options. :) I never liked ownskin as it's always been horribly slow for me. Either way, I'm a Carbide.ui user. ;)

@wils Have you registered on the site? As long as you're logged in you should be able to access it. Let me know if that doesn't work.
