how can you use Skyequikey together with the google app.?

When I press the pencil to bring up the google app typing in it activates skyequickey so I can't search.

I use in my E90 phoneshorcuts, so you asign one key to google search app.
Can you share the name an author of that theme?
    Thx.

@peter What phone do you have? On my N95-3 it works fine.

@diego The theme is by Jendell I think - can't recall right now. No worries, it'll be posted here in a themes post next week.

How do you tell the application to prompt for access point?
It uses the Wlan as default and keeps the connection active at all times.

Thx, that info was more than necessary, is orange crush by Jendell

@peter Oddly, SkyeQuiKey wasn't interrupting Google search until after the first time I rebooted since installing the Google app. Looking for a workaround...

@Elad Actually, this app works the way ALL apps should work IMO. It will utilize any active data connection. If there are no active connections, I think it will use the last successful one.

    @diego No probs

Personally I like this widget, takes around 4 seconds to search for anything on the internet, obviously connection dependant.

Offtopic: Where did you find this theme? It's cool!
  • Zach · 1 year ago
@Paulo Not sure I remember where I found it but it will be available for download here on SiMo later this week.

This got me excited when I first heard about it.
BUT it conflicts with SkyeQuiKey and I definitely won't give that up.
And after using it a bit, honestly, I must agree with Stefan. It's not such a big deal. But it is, in my opinion, a good step forward from Google to create more user-friendly possibilities to use their search.

@Vlad Agreed - The SQK conflict is a showstopper...
