@Jonny You're telling me! I'm light on videos (Sling keep me occupied in that dept) but I am NOT looking forward to syncing 4+ GB of music with iTunes, that's for sure!
But, I think this, Nokia who didn´t gave us the N95-3 FW will earn your $570 as a price...And you make this public, I don´t know, but if I was a Nokia executive reading this my thought would be "who cares about bad support, they will buy our gadgets anyway..." Sadly, may be they are right. Sorry about this, I enjoy your site, but publishing this make a point for them.
Personally, I must admit that I am very tempted to get the -4, but I make a deal with myself, despite I love Nokia devices and owned so many for the last years, if I don´t see a FW update for my -3, my next phone will be a S60 Samsung, the Xperia or any other company devive.
Sorry if I offend you in any way.
A deal with AT&T to distribute the N95-3 (although I wish it was the -4) would be a HUGE deal for Nokia and as such, they must be very careful as they tread. Even if I'm wrong and the delays are not related to AT&T, we must take into account that Nokia is the most user-centric manufacturer in the industry. I think it's safe for us to assume that there are good reasons for the delayed release of the fw update.
Nokia is very in tune with the blogosphere. They've read the -3 fw complaints over and over again. For them to not respond in one way or another means that they can't respond in my eyes - for one reason or another. We know the new fw is available internally and hopefully whatever dealings are causing the gears to grind are tended to soon.
