Thanks for the moral support, Zach. :)

It's truly buggered my day. I wish for a changelog every time an update is released- this time it would have been very beneficial to me, and countless others as you've mentioned.

I'm mostly pained that I had incorrectly assumed that this would have been like the mega update that we saw two weeks ago on the old school N95-1. It's my fault for assuming these things, but again- a change log would have saved me some grief.

It still amazes me Nokia doesn't put out changelogs!

Would also be helpful if installed apps could be backed up onto memory card and reinstalled by restoring from it.

Nokia need to look into making a more intelligent firmware updating system with minimal change to actual content having to be reinstalled every time a firmware change happens.

But mainly a change log would be definitely be welcomed!

I've read that newer models like the N81 an N82 update and restore all settings but I can't confirm it personally and I'm also not sure why it wouldn't be implemented across all FP1 devices... :(
