If you have the right codes, and if your network doesn’t have that many locks on the phone.You can unlock your moible. There are several sites that can give you the codes for unlocking mobile phones.I know only how to unlock a mobile using code. Becoz i use the site http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/
& unlock my mobile. But here this article is quite intreresting.

It really works, from Venezuela, using a Nokia N82 Movistar (734-04) with a Digitel GSM (734-02) SIM Card adapted with a NoKey XSIM, the phone also shows the SIM services menu from the invalid SIM Card... Well done!

what is its longivity use?.... thus this last for a long time?, rather than being unlocked via testpoint or other procedure of unlocking the phone permanently? because here in the phiippines it cost about php1500 if this x-sim is broken.... you will buy again for another x-sim.... which cost about php1500 again there for it is like a soup..... it is just temporal as long as it is not broken
