@Cypress - I get what you mean, but as I'm in the UK, it doesn't bother me, BUT it would if I didn't have 3G. There are a lot of things that this phone does that require 3G to make it tolerable.

@Abul: By lack of 3G, I meant lack of 3G support on the US frequencies, sorry for not making it clear.

@Martyn - Strange with the Satellite lock on issue, just playing around with it last night, I got a lock on in my room, something that never happened on the N95?!

@Mr G - I think it's a lot better looking than the N95 personally.

i found huge problems locking onto sattellites with n82, the n95 on latest firmware does it much much faster i found..

and yes, the camera is exactly the same sensor as the n95, its the awsem xenon flash that makes the huge difference on overall image quality..

I admit it's not as good looking as the N95,but it does grow on you.

Zach,i think you'll like it mate,i love mine.It's like a smaller version of the N95 with a better camera and the GPS locks on within seconds.Sold my N95 not long after getting the N82.

@Cypress - The N82 comes with HSDPA 3.5G 2100Mhz, which is the band used in Europe and Japan. I couldn't possibly imagine Nokia making any handsets in this range without 3G.

Can you comment on the lack of 3G. Do you feel the lack of it is bothering you much?
