The only way to clear up your RAM is to reboot the phone and even with my new E61i I find myself rebooting at least once every other day. I’m less bothered by this now that I have Reboot though, I must say.

Hey Brad - Unfortunately right now there's no way to obtain a cert other than registering with Symbian Signed. Have you tried emailing them a request to open an account? Tell them you're just starting to try to develop an app... :)

Hi Zach, I've downloaded 'reboot', but cannot install it due to it being unsignd. Now not just 'anyone' can sign software, as symbiansigned.com have stopped joe public from starting an account.
How can I go about getting a signed version of this app?

Thanks for your comments Allan. In order for an app to be sign, it must be sent to Symbian Signed for examination and testing. Once it is approved it will receive a certificate. Because it is quite simple for anyone to sign an app with their own dev-cert, some developers opt to not deal with the signing process...

and btw the only negative thing i have to say is that your text is very dark. It is difficult to read the text on a on a less lighted screen like mine. I like my screnn a little dark ...but this it not good on your site. :)
But, again, all the other on the site is damn good. :)
