EAT YOUR HEART OUT iPHONE!!! All the falshy features touch combined with Nokia precision and quality and being OPEN to 3rd party dev, who would even consider iPhone (Apple freaks ok, yeah they are a strange breed). Anyway I love that Nokia is finally going to have touch, it's about time. I mean how much longer do we have to wait, when the much of the competition has or had touch for years now. Zach any idea on when this will be actually in our reach?

I was so happy about this until she busted out the stylus again...that is so old school. It looks like it slides out, so hopefully there is QWERTY keyboard. This would be amazing as long as they don't mess with us and let the device have US3G (AT&T as well as T-Mobile) and Xenon, this would be KILLER!

Remember, the Tube is going to be an Xpressmusic device so don't expect too much out of it. It'll be a nice intro into S60 Touch but 5 megapixel cam, xenon flash, etc won't be there. Next year we'll be seeing some nice Nseries touch devices though... "I think" ;)

There are various shots of the top of the phone here that make me think that this prototype is a "slider" which would lead me think that it still has a physical keypad. This would be a huge plus in my eyes. I have played with friends iPhones and no doubt they are nice, I just HATE not being able to no-look one handed type on the phone. I do this all of the time be it while driving (I do try to minimize this) or in class.

Said shots can be seen at the following time stamps:
0:31 - Right after the phone rings there is a close up of it next to her face. There is a clearly defined "ridge" of negative space about 2.5mm below the screen's surface.
0:45 - As she is interacting with the device it is visible again, it appears to go all the way around the phone.
1:25 - As the phone is flipped to silence the alarm this "ridge" is again visible

Other than that, Zach I agree about the web page scrolling in the wrong direction. The one thing I will say about that it is that it is pretty clear to me that the these screens are 100% simulated and that the device being held isn't actually functioning. I just hope that particular interaction was animated improperly when they generated the simulated output.

I guess time will tell. For all we know this is a dummy device (looks VERY much like an N96 to me, minus the screen-side surface). In fact watching the video again I believe that is exactly what this is. We might have all seen an N96 prototype long before we even knew it. ;-)

Does it really have to be said? Ok, I'll say it: this is a promotional video so you absolutely under no circumstances should assume that this is an actual phone coming out. So whether its a slide or not is completely speculative with no basis whatsoever. Sorry for having to sound harsh. :)

The webdragging thing could, presumably, easily be a user configurable thing.
