How can I change SEVEN mail to check the mailbox time-to-time (like every 10 minutes) and DO NOT stay connected from 08:00 until 19:00 ???

Like in the Application: Mail for Exchange.

Hi i have been using seven for a year and half on my nokia e61i its perfect and works great. i'm loving it. i have tried emoze, only handles one account, tried consillient, tried bluewhale but they are all crap compared to seven by the way traffic going through seven servers is through ssl and no data is stored on their servers they just poll the servers of ur email hosts..

Unfortunately it looks like there will be a lot of problems to come
from SEVEN. In a nutshell, they maxed out their beta server traffic,
and then some. Keep your eye on the forum as they are working on it
but there's no overnight fix. They have to wait for new pipes from the
ISP and we all know what a pleasure that is...

Jarle, you can't sync messages using SEVEN. As far as I know, there is no app that will handle it, though I can find it useful. I guess, this needs to be addressed to S60 but not to SEVEN.

I have recently switched to SEVEN after Zach's recommendation from RoadSync and I'm lovin' it. In the past I also tried M4E and Emoze, SEVEN is way better in many terms and one of the greatest is support of multiple accounts. Go SEVEN!

I tried using Seven on my E71 but was not able to it to save my sent messages using imap. Do you guys get it to save your sent mails?

My advice is always this: If you're nervous, don't use it. It seems
trite but you're always better safe than sorry.

manufacturers, enterprises, etc around the world. Their products are
known around the globe and are widely acclaimed. This doesn't
necessarily mean that your data is safe, but it makes me more
comfortable using it.

Google scans and stores every single character sent through them. This issue is always there when you use an online e-mail service. I think you can never be safe. I bet that all big providers do the same everywhere. I don't think this is too legal, because there is a law about letter-mail secrecy that applies to electronic mail too. But who is gonna stop them from doing it?
As a matter of fact I know from an ex - Vodafone employee friend of mine that all traffic is recorded that goes through them. I mean all - phone conversations, sms, mms, data - everything. They record, keep ti for a while (few years) then delete it.
I'm sure if it came out to the open they would say "This is for national security" or some BS. But at the end of the day you can never hide from big brother or whoever.
If you send really sensitive data you should encrypt it. There are very good and nearly impossible to crack encryption applications out there. Of course "What man made, other men can crack" and I personally know a few who do it with ease...
No wonder the best hackers and crackers never ever go to jail, they get jobs at companies that they ripped off or with the police, doing cyber crime prevention.

Its not actually a connection issue its actually on the tzones side of things they dont support that type data being sent from what seven told me, Im cool with it, I dont really have any issues with it, a great program and with the hotspots im good to go

I've read Privacy & Security in SEVEN's website, but thats what all providers are saying, no?

No offense here, but I've heard rumors of e-mail solutions storing users data & I'm worried a bit.

Try out Psiloc Connect. It will solve all your data connection problems. I use it with Seven and it works like a charm... (THX again Zach for the license!)

Glad to hear you've got plenty of hotspots in your area - wish I did!
Regarding the T-Zones issue, you might try creating a duplicate Access
Point and deleting the proxy server and port. This procedure solves
tons of issues with AT&T's MediaNet AP so it might help you as well...

Zach....I have been using Seven for about a year now, love it couldnt ask for a better app. The only issue I have is with tmobiles tzones, seven wont sync up with it due to some limitations, so I have to use wifi not a problem hotspots all over the place!!!!

I use SEVEN after Zach recommended it. It's been great to me, and I've grown to love it. Very easy to set up and use. Sure it has a few bugs, but from a beta you have to take that with the package. It has a pretty good forum page too so you can get the lowdown if something acts up. Great that they brought it out for FP2 as well, but I hope that didn't take resources from dev-ing the FP1 version...

Emoze is definitely a great option that I have used plenty in the past. There are two main limitations that make it impossible for me to use it now though. First and foremost, it only supports one account. I have six that need to be monitored so I can provide timely responses. Second, the automatic signature. For business use, an ad at the bottom of each email is not desirable to say the least.

I was a fan of emoze before when using it. Seven is just better for me, leaving it on IMAP mode and the near real time e-mail notification is great.
