I just thought I'd comment on this because I feel that this program is grea. I only got to test for a short period. But I'm wondering If I should use photoshop to resize my pics at least somewhat to the specs of my phone before letting the program do so when assigning a photo to a contact? My test was when using a certain photos the head was cut off..kinda like the resizing didnt do so good of a job. Also there are no cropping options/resizing options. I'm almost ready to purchase this program. Anyone try SkyeCaller Pro with the built in video ringtones add-on or is it best to buy both programs separate ?(seems a bit redundant though)

Resizing and cropping your pics is definitely a good idea. If you have a 352x416 display, the resized pic should be 352x320. Not sure about QVGA displays.

As for SkyCaller Pro, I haven't had a play with it so I can't really comment. If you're looking for both functionalities though, I would definately say you should have a play with it.

I just bought skyecaller pro now..lol. Im going to just stick to resizing pics specifically in the realm/resolution of my device. Nokia E61 . I have yet to see how this handles multiple text messages. Because I know Nokia/symbian has a log list message box when u miss 2 calls/3 text messages/4 emails/2 voicemails (just using that as an example). I'm guessing it will display the last picture of whatever photo caller ID contact called you and you might have to press exit to see the message box...

Most of my 150 contacts have pictures already attached in the regular contact phonebook. Why can't this app or FSC retrieve these? I hate having to go thru all my contacts and reattaching the same pictures!!!

It would be bad if Skyecaller used the thumbnails from the Nokia contact manager. When you set a pic for a contact in the Nokia contact manager, it shrinks the image down. If Skyecaller used those images they would be all pixelated and it would look terrible unfortunately.

I set my contact pictures via Outlook so that I can sync each new phone and not redo the photos each time. Those are in the screen size resolution. Didn't know Nokia resizes them.

However if I recall my 2nd ed Nokia had an additional screen in the Contact phonebook, for full size images. The older FSC versions had an option which updated their contact list to include these images. They were displayed full size.

Where are situated the photos of abonents in the phone's memory? (Where SkyCaller stores photos of abonents?). The program compresses original images with very poor quality. At an entering call the photo of abonent looks badly. The initial size of a picture - 240?266. I want to replace them manually. Phone - Nokia E50. Thanks.

Does anyone know about the frame size the pics will be shown? I like to make it fitting perfectly instead of cropping 1/3.

I have the N95 8gb. The pictures don't look too good. What can I resize them to so that the entire crop I choose shows? Rather than the auto-crop.
