LOVE this app!! Like you I am so dependent on it! I have a big address book (350 names) and only txt a select few so this is just icing!

Wonderful application. I'm tempted to buy it - but I do wonder, how do you get updates? Do you have to go and buy it again?

@Jhosie I can't even imagine being without this app now - I think it's one of my most-used apps for sure!

@Jan I can confirm that your purchase will include free updates. Because the beta expires today, the author had to rush in order to ensure that the release version became available but you'll find more info on the TextQuick handango page soon. :)

well i had said this when i tried beta version, this applications is a RAM hog, it took almost 3MBs of RAM when open, so 1 thing is for sure, i cant keep it running in background, so the option added in this release is a good thing! hope even the RAM requirements are lowered!

@Chirantan Yeah this app definitely isn't meant to be left open and this new feature works perfectly. Open the app, launch an SMS or call, and you're back on the standby screen when you're done with the app closed. :)

oh btw 1 more thing, you cant replace the usual "new text msg" shortcut with this app, i tried doing that by replacing my standby shortcut for "new text msg" but then i had no option to send msges to numbers that werent in my contacts list, those were my service providers special numbers for checking service status or activating or deactivating services etc, or just to check my monthly usage etc! hope we ll see this option in the next update! so that we can just forget "new text msg" :-)

Can you add those numbers to your contact list? Like you can add a "Usage" contact with the monthly usage number, etc...

The Mind-Flip wants to add the functionality that you mention to the app (we've discussed it) but Symbian Signed has tons of limitations and it would cost a lot of money to gain the required access rights.

sadly no, cuz although the usage no. number remains the same, other numbers keep on changing, like if there are special offers goin on and the subscribers r asked to message on those numbers, plus not only service provider, there are lots of other numbers like if a match is going on, theres a number to check the live scores etc. so its practically impossible to add all those numbers in my contacts list!
