Nice news Zach, i was wondering when the whole thing would come out, its a great app to have lying around the phone incase you ever need to make your cell into a hotspot on the spot and show off to your friends that their cells aren't open to anything..lol

Personally I'm now using the WalkingHotSpot free trial

Only limitation as that you can only connect 1 device to it, but since I only use to give my iPod Touch 3G, it works perfectly.

The cool thing is that it supports all protocols (unlike JoikuSpot Lite), and doesn't send you to a landing page first time you access the internet (again, unlike JoikuSpot).

So until the commercial version of JoikuSpot comes out, at least for my use, WalkingHotSpot is a better choice

For sure there's another new offering for such an application. Hmmm, this is still very useful considering the importance of the phone in one's life.

I've been looking for a decent tethering solution for a while and this certainly seems to do the trick.
