Too bad there's not a trial to test the current version... My only suggestion is to email them. Maybe they'll give you a beta version. Crazy that it doesn't support Nokia's most popular handset of late!

Re: VoiceMode by VoiceSignal - You Talk, VoiceMode Types

Sadly not so - That's the link I keep checking - see the last sentence of para 2:

"Please note that the British English version is not currently available for Nokia N95."

Re: VoiceMode by VoiceSignal - You Talk, VoiceMode Types

@Ian There most certainly is a British English version! Different users have different needs but I would agree with you that Adaptxt is more important to me. In my eyes they are very different but both useful. Adaptxt is a replacement for T9 - a much better way to manually input text on your device. On the other hand there are many situations where VoiceMode is much more convenient. For example, dictating an SMS/email using VoiceMode is infinitely safer than any alternative.

I would never leave VoiceMode enabled all of the time as I do with Adaptxt. That is the reason I wish the app had a hotkey shortcut to easily anable/disable it. Launching the settings app with SkyeQuiKey is easy, but a hotkey would be easier.

Re: VoiceMode by VoiceSignal - You Talk, VoiceMode Types

Hi Zach,
thanks for the review, I didn't know this application before. However, I still think Adaptxt is 10 times more useful than VoiceMode for text messages and the reason is that unlike writing an email the contexts where I write a text are when:
* I'm doing something else as well (and start speaking would interrupt that task)
* I cannot talk (e.g. meeting)
Just my 2 cents.

Regards,
Reda
